operation christmas child is (i shall quote the next bit)
"Together with the Christian aid organization Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child provides an opportunity for you to pack a shoe box with essential items and suitable toys for children suffering from the effects of war, natural disaster, poverty or neglect.
Operation Christmas Child sends a message of hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes and Christian literature. This program provides an opportunity for individuals of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project that reaches out to suffering children while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas – Jesus Christ, God's greatest gift. "

How’s everyone week going? I hope it’s going smooth for everyone!
Ya I know that the assignments datelines are coming nearer & nearer and some of us are super busy too!
Let’s relax on the Friday afternoon!
Awwww~ It's our LAST cell for this Sem!!! Really hope all of you could make it for our last cell! =D
Eunice is thinking, if anyone wanna go for a GOOD dinner out? or just go for Spring Feast? or cook at home?
Pls let us know!! :) What you all prefer! :)
Let's Vote!!
Curtin's Spring Feast will be on 16th Oct 09. We can have our refreshment there before cell!!!
For those who aren't familiar with Spring Feast, it's when students set up stalls to sell food.
Anyways, we'll be leaving for Curtin around 5pm. We will grab some food and get back in time for cell.
Cell for this week will be at 8pm! And also, we will buy back some food for those who cannot make it to the Spring Feast as refreshment after cell. :) Of course, we can buy back some food for ourselves too!
Hope you all get back to me soon! Those who are interested to go Spring Feast! Need to arrange transport. :)
And as the exams are coming SOON, do keep each others in prayer!
For those who haven’t given their final exam timetable to YueXing, pls forward to her. :D
See you all on Friday!!! Have a blessed week ahead!
With His love & mine,
Yvonne

Hello once again my dear cell members,
I just want to thank you all for coming to my baptism and supporting me through this important moment in my life. It is a memory that I will keep for the rest of my life and will be reminded of daily. And to be honest, I couldn't have done it without God as you all/most of you know I'm not the most eloquent speaker. As it came to my turn to speak I was really nervous but in my heart I was praying, "God, Your will be done and not mine" and somehow the fear was just gone. God answers prayers in ways that we don't expect and often leaves us in awe of His greatness. And just as Josh (Lim) shared in service, "the greatest miracle is a changed life".
And God just reaffirmed to me just how powerful prayer really is. The ability to heal, to encourage, to break down walls, to change a life! And as I write this post, I'm opening this blog for you all to submit your prayer requests. As a cell to keep each other in constant prayer. It could be something that happens to you over the week, someone you talked to? Anything you feel you need prayer for, can I encourage you to put it forward?
Eunice(Mummy)-
Lucas(bottomless pit)-
Venny(Geng pianist)-
Yvonne(Miss artistic:)-
Wincy(Sabo gamemaster)-
Janice(Ms. gentle hearted teacher)-
Paul(Tall and composed)-
Jennifer(Geng Kuih maker)-
John Lee(skaterboy)-
Jon Lim(aka salsa King)-
Yue Xing(Miley Cyrus fan)-
Demie(Miemie)-
Shumin(Crissan)-
Charmaine(Hardworker)-
Henry(Baptised! Hehe)-
Let our love be reflected and demonstrated during the week and in cell as well by lifting those people whom we care about up in prayer!
God bless,
Henry.
